Happy National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week to all our dispatchers at Choctaw County E911! These are our men and women who serve as public safety telecommunicators. They are often the forgotten unsung heroes of public safety. They take the emergency call that EMS, police officers or firefighters respond to. It either starts with, or is handled by, one of our public safety dispatchers. They are truly on the front line, and are generally the first person a citizen deals with during a crisis.
