⚠️Due to the forecasted weather conditions, and with the support of our VFW and American Legion, Bloomingdale & Butler’s Memorial Day Ceremony will be held indoors at the Bloomingdale Firemen’s Hall (97 Hamburg Turnpike) at 10:00 AM on Memorial Day.

Please note that the parade portion of the event has been cancelled.

All are welcome to attend & join us as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country! 🇺🇸

Due to potential storms tomorrow morning, the Bloomingdale, Butler parade is canceled, however the Memorial Day Ceremonies for both towns Butler and Bloomingdale will take place inside the Bloomingdale Fireman's hall, 97 Hamburg tpk at 10:00 AM (doors open at 9:00). for those wishing to attend, this was done for the safety of all.

Sunday, May 17, 2026, 10:00 AM: Mt Calvary Cemetery, Bartholdi Ave. Butler

Monday, May 18, 2026, 5:00 PM: Rain Date for Mt Calvary. (ONLY IF NOT COMPLETED ON SUNDAY)

Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 5:00 PM Manning Cemetery, Manning Ave, Butler

Wednesday, May 20, 2026, 5:00 PM: Mt Rest Cemetery, Kakeout Rd. Butler

Thursday, May 21, 2026, 5:00 PM: OLM Cemetery, Miller Rd, Kinnelon

Friday, May 22, 2026, finish any cemetery not completed as scheduled.

Van Ness Cemetery Volunteer needed



Volunteers are needed to place flags on veterans' graves. This is an annual event.

Please bring the following supplies: water, bug/tick spray, and a large screwdriver to make 6-inch-deep holes for flag sticks. Adult supervision for youth groups is necessary.
