Today is the day! Think you'll be as lucky as Mrs. Melissa in spotting a bigfoot?

Join the Tracks in the Stacks challenge, a system-wide exploration of BIG(foot) proportions. Visit any of the 24 libraries in the , find the name of the elusive bigfoot residing there, and enter to win a prize. Each library has its own bigfoot. That's 24 chances to win!

Join the search, visit our libraries, and keep your eyes sharp! You never know where they could be hiding.

Stop by the Front Desk to pick up your map. You have until August 21st to find as many bigfoots as you can.

While you're here, you can also pre-register for our Summer Reading Program. Official Summer Reading Challenges start June 15th for all ages.

To finish off the month of May our storytime crew had a great time learning about otters. Did you know a group of otters is called a raft? That otters eat clams and fish, they keep warm by blowing air into their fur, and that they have a secret storage spot under their armpit? After hearing all this 'otterly" amazing facts, Mrs. Melissa invited the children to search for lost clams in the library. Our crew then moved into coloring their very own clam shell to take home.
Join Melissa in two weeks as we begin our summer Outdoor Storytime series on the Clarke House lawn, June 17th at 11:30am. Feel free to bring a blanket or chair, snacks and a drink for our outdoor storytime events.

We'll have the gems, glue, and applicators. You bring the book. Then bedazzle the cover with diamond art.

Recommended for ages 10 to adult.

Registration recommended. You can register at the Front Desk or by calling us at 262-783-2535. Register for one or both sessions.
