UPDATE 7:43 am** The intersection is fully open**.

The traffic signal at Kiel Ave and Rt 23 is malfunctioning. No cross traffic is currently permitted to go across Rt 23. Expect delays, plan an alternate route to cross 23. All other signal are working.

This afternoon we responded to the Butler High School for a reported threat. We worked closely with Dr Johnson, the school’s administration, and their security team to ensure the threat was thoroughly investigated. With assistance of the Morris County Sheriff’s Department the school environment was deemed to be safe, and all classes resumed without incident.
