Center for Community Resources Connecting People to Essential Services
ccrinfo.org We connect over 64,000 people each year to supports and services.

Center for Community Resources (CCR) was created in 2002 to provide assistance to the community through a single point of contact. Today, CCR coordinates supportive services for individuals and families seeking information and referral for mental health, intellectual disabilities, substance abuse and other human service needs. Our mission is to make a positive difference in everyday lives by conne

cting people to a network of supports and services essential for actively learning, working and living in the community. CCR provides Developmental Supports, Home and School Supports, Mental Health & Recovery Supports, Emergency Supports and Community Education & Assistance. In 2014-2015, CCR helped to bring back $2.8 million to the community through our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. CCR was recently accredited by the Standards for Excellence Institute for successfully fulfilling the requirements of their Standards for Excellence program through the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO). This accreditation illustrates our commitment to upholding the principles and practices of the Standards for Excellenceยฎ: an Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector.

At CCR, we believe families are strongest when every voice is heard.

Our Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) program helps families build support systems, identify strengths, overcome barriers, and create solutions together in a positive and empowering environment. From collaborative meetings with catered meals to follow-up support, we walk alongside families every step of the way.

โœจ Empowering families
โœจ Encouraging collaboration
โœจ Focusing on strengths
โœจ Creating solutions together

Because families deserve support, respect, and a seat at the table.

When someone is experiencing a mental health crisis, the right response can make all the difference.

CCRโ€™s Co-Responder Program pairs mental health workers with law enforcement to provide support in moments of crisis. Our Co-Responders help with de-escalation, connect individuals to appropriate services, and provide follow-up care to ensure ongoing support in the community.

The goal is to increase safety, reduce unnecessary involvement with the criminal justice system, and connect people with the care and resources they need.

This service is provided in Clinton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, and Schuylkill Counties.
