Six people joined our Budget Basics classes, sponsored by Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, this month and learned about grocery shopping on a SNAP budget, prioritizing expenses, and avoiding scams. Each session wrapped up with fun trivia games, and participants received bags filled with information about local food pantries, community meals, and helpful agencies. Two participants completed all three classes. Staff member Sharon Geibel, a representative payee, created the curriculum and trivia games.

Our annual Mental Health Awareness Walk was a great day of coming together, sharing hope, and celebrating recovery in Butler County. A big thank you to Grapevine Center for sponsoring the event with us and helping make it possible. Butler City Firefighters IAFF Local 114 mascot Arlo and Lieutenant Skip also stopped by to join the fun and bring some extra smiles along the way.
