Last week, Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) informed the Village that beginning August 29 that bus service will be extended and run south on 124th Street from Silver Spring to Burleigh. This includes six bus stops in the Village. The route map can be viewed at https://platform.remix.com/map/4efab8a8?latlng=43.10141,-88.06333,15.677&public=true

The Village had not been previously consulted on the route extension nor were we consulted about the bus stop locations.

The Village has expressed traffic concerns about two bus stop locations, and MCTS has agreed to review those locations before installing permanent signs.

MCTS also informed the Village that the route will begin on August 29 whether stop locations have been agreed upon or not. We hope to come to a mutually beneficial agreement with MCTS on stop locations, but wanted to inform the public as to the route extension right away.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns about the MCTS route extension, please contact MCTS directly at 414-937-3218.

We are having difficulties with a leaking valve in the road project area that will cause us to turn off water to a greater area than originally projected for today.

In addition to the 126th/Villard area, water will be shut off on 127th Street from Eggert to Lancaster, and all of Lancaster from 127th St – West.

Hello Butler Friends and Neighbor's! (This is D'ann Tetzlaff / Marge Etzel's daughter.) As most of you know by now my mom passed away very unexpectedly on May 7, 2020. Her Celebration of Life mass will be held at St. Agnes Parish on Saturday July 11, 2020. After meeting with Father Mark this week there will be a time change for visitation. IT WAS TO ORIGINALLY START AT 9:00am. However, in order to follow social distancing and Covid precautions it has been decided to change the time. Visitation will NOW begin at 10:00am-10:45am. Mass will be at 11:00am and a Life Celebration luncheon will follow at the Frontier Park Community Building. If you choose to stay for the mass any socialization after visitaion MUST BE held outside and NOT in the church vestibule until Mass begins. The Etzel family LOOK'S FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL!!! COME AND BE PART OF CELEBRATING MY MOM'S BLESSING IN OUR & YOUR LIFE!!
Being asked if the Hot Rods on Hampton is still going to happen?
Riddle me this, Butler PD. How is forcing me to have my va**ng products sent through the mail safer than having curbside delivery? I know you guys aren't that smart: but anyone with 2 brain-cells to rub together would understand less people and by proxy, their mail; touching my order the safer it is. Which one of you smooth-brains decided this?
Merry Christmas
Doesn't it concern anyone that a boy who was convicted of these things is being allowed back at school? It should... He was charged with 4 counts of s*xual assault. 2 counts of 4th degree s*xual assault. 2 counts of 2nd degree s*xual assault. Yes, In adult court 2nd degree s*xual assault is punishable by up to 40 years in prison. In juvenile court the same 2nd degree s*xual assault is punishable by up to one year in confinement. It insane, but that is a whole other issue. The other issue is they let this guy take a plea deal. If he plead guilty to the two 4th degree s*xual assaults, they drop the two 2nd degree s*xual assaults. He plead guilty. Whats worse, if he β€œdoesn’t get in any more trouble” in the next year, until the end of August 2020 it is all wiped off his permanent juvenile record. Also you dont have to register as a s*x offender for 4th degree s*xual assault. That is another fight with the DA’s office and eventually law makers.
