Here are some helpful tips from our friends at Respect Our Waters on how to properly drain water out of our outdoor pool later on this summer after you enjoy some fun in the sun!

We all live in a Watershed. Contrary to the name, a watershed includes both land and water and is named for the waterbody into which the rainfall hitting that area of land will flow into and affect. Southeastern Wisconsin rivers, lakes and streams face major challenges from non-point pollution and a...

Good afternoon Butler! Election season is upon us! To prepare, please visit MyVote to check your voter registration status, see what is on your ballot, and request an absentee ballot! The August Partisan Primary ballots will be sent out next week, so if you want to skip the line on August 11th, or you are going to be out of town, make sure to request a mail ballot or vote in-person in the two weeks leading up to the Election!

Good evening Butler! It has come to the Village’s attention that recycling pickup was not completed in the Village today. We have contacted John’s Disposal and they stated that residents should keep their recycling at the curb for pickup tomorrow morning. They do apologize for the delay in service. Thank you!

It's National CPR and AED Awareness Week!

If someone has cardiac arrest, doing CPR right away can double or triple their chances of survival.

1. First, call 911
2. Then start CPR. If there’s an automated external defibrillator (AED) nearby, use it as soon as you can.

If two people are helping, one should start CPR.
The other should call 911 and find the AED.

Every minute counts!

The odds for survival drop by 10% each minute without help.

Good morning Butler. The DPW is currently working on a water main break on Hampton Avenue near the Library. Water has been or will shortly be getting turned off to buildings in the area surrounding the break. We do not have a current time of resolution as we are waiting for DIgger's Hotline to finishing marking the pavement before we cut into the concrete.

Please call Village Hall with any questions. Thank you!

Good morning again! Here are some does and don't for home automotive maintenance to ensure that work done on vehicles does not negatively affect our waterways!

Chemicals found in automobiles can enter our waterways via storm drains if not properly handled. Contaminants such as motor oil and antifreeze pose severe human and environmental health hazards. When performing maintenance on your vehicle at home, do so responsibly by following these guidelines. Be sure to properly dispose of all waste chemicals at your local hazardous waste disposal site. Visit respectourwaters.org for more information.
