Ban Burn Still in Effect

As of April 22, 2026, the state-issued ban on open burning remains in effect until further notice. All open burning is prohibited.
Dry, breezy conditions and low relative humidity are elevating fire danger statewide.
Use extreme caution with farm equipment, machines, mowers, vehicles on dry grass, smoking materials such as ci******es, anything that can throw a spark. In current conditions, these are ignition sources with the potential to start easily and spread quickly.

A fecha de 22 de abril de 2026, la prohibición estatal de quema a cielo abierto sigue vigente hasta nuevo aviso. Está prohibida toda quema a cielo abierto.
Las condiciones secas y ventosas y la baja humedad relativa están aumentando el riesgo de incendio en todo el estado.
Ten mucha precaución con maquinaria agrícola, máquinas, cortacéspedes, vehículos sobre hierba seca, materiales para fumar como ci*******os, cualquier cosa que pueda lanzar una chispa. En condiciones actuales, son fuentes de ignición con potencial para arrancar fácilmente y propagarse rápidamente.
