Brian Hardy worker rebuilding the chimney for the original heating system for the house. The roof on the back of the house will be replaced and new gutters installed all over. In May the house will be caulked and painted. Should be nicer than a Las Vegas facelift!!

More recent photos of the room that has been named “the President’s room” for a number of different reasons, mainly because it has FDR’s photo. It was originally a breakfast room. It has a unique coved ceiling. The silk rug was gifted to us by the girl who owned the house 50 years ago.

The coffee room between the kitchen and the butler’s quarters with paint and wallpaper. The walls were firred over the stained bricks and the walls were insulated. The wallpaper had a nightmare installation pattern that is a beautiful design of embossed vines and flowers. I am running out of remodel rooms but have the closets and secret rooms yet to do.
