🌾 THE HEART OF NOKOTA: Before the First Potato
Before the grower.
Before the seed.
Before the planter.
Before NoKota.
Before the first potato...
there was the land. 🌾
Stretching across eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota, the Red River Valley is home to some incredibly productive agricultural land.
For those of us who live here, it's easy to drive past miles and miles of fields without stopping to think about how extraordinary the ground beneath us really is.
But without it, there is no crop.
No harvest.
No NoKota.
And no potato journey to tell.
That's why The Heart of NoKota doesn't begin inside our packing plant.
It begins here.
In the fields.
In the dark soil.
With the land that makes everything else possible.
Next week, we're going back thousands of years to discover how an enormous glacial lake helped shape the Valley we call home.
❤️ Every Potato Has a Purpose. And every one begins with the land.
