April is celebrated as the Month of the Military Child – a time to honor the experience of the children of military members serving at home and overseas. From new schools, new homes, new communities, their resilience always shines through!

Today we are moving forward, with all the lessons we learned and community well being in mind. We are grateful to the wonderful Cape Cod community for welcoming us back safely.

We are looking forward to another year combining virtual and in-person events to bring our community closer together.

When it was safe, we came back together following all state guidelines for outdoor fun. Many thanks to our Chiefs for lending us their firepit set up for our S'mores fall social.

2020 challenged us to re-imagine how we support our Coast Guard Spouses. This week we want to share some creative events from last year.

Here on Cape Cod, we are lucky to enjoy many outdoor venues where we can practice socially distant, small group gatherings. At the end of last summer we enjoyed a private hydrangea garden tour at Heritage Museums & Gardens.

Cape Cod is so lucky to have amazing resources for active and retired service members & families. One of our favorites is Heroes in Transition (HIT). They offer veterans, active duty, families and spouse amazing support in so many fun ways! Check out their amazing work on their Facebook or website.

Every month, we hold free outings for those who are serving and have served our country as well as their loved ones.

What does a Spouses Association do?

Have fun, support each other, and provide a soft landing when you find yourself in a new community. In February we spread the love on the doorsteps of our member with special Galentines goody bags!

We are a social club for Coast Guard spouses dedicated to nurturing positive morale for our members, and in turn, their signification other & larger community.
