We might be a couple of days late but...
Happy National Oyster Day! 🦪
The Town of Bourne Department of Natural Resources is proud to celebrate one of our most valuable natural resources and the work that goes into protecting it!
Through our Shellfish team and propagation program, over a million oyster seed are raised and planted each year to help restore local shellfish populations, support recreational shellfishing, and improve the health of our coastal waters! 🐚🦪
