A few pictures from this mornings live burn for fire one. This officially signifies that we have completed all course work and practical skills to pass the class. Now on to the state test.

They have completed the classroom portion and now just have the live burn and state test.

Please use caution tomorrow morning, as there is a 5K/10k that will be running through the Village and along 821.

The race will start at the schools, up 821 to S 5th, across Main Street at the bell store to high to the park and back to the school.

One lane is Marietta road (821) will remain open. Throughout the race.

The race will start at 8 AM

Byesville emergency personnel will be out to assist the race

Byesville fire dispatch he’s tonight to a local factory for an alarm. Needless to say we investigated and determined it was not just an alarm. There was in fact a fire in one of the machines. Thank you to Cambridge Fire Department and Pleasant City Fire Department for their mutual aid. We all worked together to remove the smoke and eliminate the fire.

This is one of those circumstances that being ready is always important. Not being complacent and ensuring that the job is done is always important.

The Village of Byesville made an astronomical step towards serving the community. With the support of The Byesville Village Council, Village Administration and Byesville Fire and EMS we are proud to announce that we will be operating on a 24 hour department.

This is monumental for Byesville Fire and EMS. Also The Village of Byesville.
