The Loleta Tucker-Dickerson School of Unity and Diversity celebrates Black history Month and diversity. We must remember that during a time who the enemy was actively and still is planting a seed of division in the Earth Realm causing people to hate one another because of the color of thier skin, "LOVE" managed to break color barriers.
It is very important to embrace ones culture and heritage, It is equally important to celebrate our differences that adds to and not take away from the joy be can be to one another in our lives.
Naturally as human beings when we live together in dormitories, communities and work on jobs together we naturally adopt certain traditions and ideals from one another.
We adopt food, fashion and languages and even friends from another's culture.
We must celebrate that we are a beautiful tapestry -a regal robe- like unto Joseph's Coat of Many Colors.....
Joseph's adapted and prospered in a foreign land because he embraced diversity. Unity is key, diversity is encouraged.
This post shows Rosa in*******al marriage while history only shows us the part where she refused to give up her seat for a white person on a bus. What the history books don't tell us is this wasn't just about skin color, but it was about human beings getting respect weather they are black, white, Mexican etc. After all she was married To a white man. It is extremely important to me that while educators are teaching history in School they develope a Curriculum for Black history so that black people want be viewed as "just slaves" in the eyes of our youth & also images like these in history that foster diversity.
What history books need to also show is the actual under ground railroad system that also shows the white people whose basement and root sellers our black people hid in escaping to freedom. It wasn't all about hate...haye..hate on either side some black people and white people actual loved and cared for one another.
The youth need to know that during the 1800 s you could have been more than just a slave and a factory worker - their where black doctors, inventors business owners and black million are while the wounds of black men being whipped by slave matters where still standing open...Our youth back and white and all races need to be properly educated.
We are more then one skin color...we all made a contribution to society that had nothing to do with race but a person's mentality...
Don't just conditions minds to have a slave mater hate mentality show all our historical successes in history books - start early showing them that one race is "Not" inferior to others and it starts with education.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres
