We have been enjoying the fall weather with some great outdoor training this September! Our paid on call personnel and both station's full time crews were able to spend some time on vehicle extrication this month. We are grateful for our extrication equipment, and the ability to practice on several vehicles. Thank you to Merls Towing and Berry's & Gillikin's Towing for supplying vehicles for us to use!

*We had a set of keys turned into Station 2. If you are missing keys and are able to describe the key chain on the set, please come by and pick them up!*

BTFD's annual pancake breakfast is THIS Saturday at Station 1!! We ask that you leave the back parking lot available for handicapped and elderly to utilize. We hope to see you there, come hungry!

Between Station 1 and 2 Byron Township Fire Department has run 30 calls since Friday! It has been a busy holiday weekend so far.

We hope everyone stays safe whether out of town, grilling, or at the lake, do not forget that Memorial Day is a chance to be reminded of the fallen heroes, and that we may remember that freedom is never free.🇺🇸

Odd/Even Outdoor Water Restrictions Notice
Starting May 1, 2026 through June 15, 2026, we are implementing odd/even outdoor water restrictions for residences and businesses on the City of Wyoming’s water system, which includes Byron Township. This restriction only impacts outdoor water usage, such as lawn irrigation, car washing, and filling pools, and is in place to reduce stress on the City of Wyoming’s water treatment plant while it operates at a reduced capacity during construction of the third transmission main.
How does it work?
Odd-numbered addresses: water on odd-numbered days.
Even numbered addresses: water on even-numbered days.
