Lindsay, our most recent resident of Stelle discovered Murray’s in Clifton. A town until now we only went to for the Dairy Queen child size dipped cone. The story of Murray’s alone is so sweet and amazing. We went with the Bryan’s, the owner who opened the restaurant after retiring from a successful career in restaurants, with his son who opened the Tavern side first. Born in Italy, he has the tomatoes from Naples, the wine, from Naples and he learned to cook from his mother. He showed us the tomato can so we would be sure to get these, where I am not sure. It’s all about the food. His wife does amazing pastries and the cannoli was delicious, Lindsay brought us pastries the first time she went. I think he said he wanted simple and Clifton fits that bill. Our new favorite place. Tell them Lindsay sent you. Bring the cannoli, leave the need for a quick meal, it’s made from the heart not the freezer. When Jeff told him about his vineyard in Stelle we were gifted with wine from the Castillo near Naples. A treasure.
