I'm at the Wisconsin Library Association conference this week in Middleton, WI.

Today is a special day - it's Trustee Day!
Many of today's sessions involve trustee involvement in the library. We are so thankful for our volunteer board of library trustees! They are a governing body that really do so much to oversee the library and the service it provides our communities.

Join me in sending out a huge thank you to our current Library Board of Trustee members:
President: Julia Campbell
Vice President: Elizabeth Hewitt
Secretary: Marilyn Hemsey
School Representative: Tara VonThoma
Member: Jan Berlin
Member: Janet Ziegler
Member: Julie Maciosek

Today was an absolutely amazing wonderful day!

Thank you to everyone that was able to join us for our Grand Opening Celebration.📚💗🥳

I know that Kelly Randolph was with us and took some fantastic photos and will share those with us later. I was very busy today and I was not able to take any photos of my own.
If you have any photos from the day and would like to share them with us on this post, please do so.

You can also share them on our Instagram.

Thank you for such a memorable, wonderful day. I can't wait to see everyone on Monday. 😊💗📚

So excited that tomorrow is the big day!
It has been quite a week....
getting acclimated to the new space, getting artwork and other details in place, a library board meeting, and the past two days we've had just over 80 visits each day! Those are numbers we'd typically see in mid-summer. 🙂 We've had many stop in and get a new library card as well.
We're loving the excitement from our community for the new building. It is beautiful and wonderful!
Coming soon as well is a new website! That should be up and running by early November. Thank you for your patience as we get necessary 'behind the scenes' internet needs done as we transition to a new online space. It will remain at the same website address, just have an updated look.

See everyone tomorrow at 10 a.m.! 💗📚

Curious about JobPod and how it can help connect you with employment resources? Stop by, take a look, and learn what it’s all about!

We love seeing a beautiful library bring even more opportunities to its community. Come for the open house, stay for the possibilities! 🧡
