Mrs. Jackson’s class had the opportunity to visit Matteo’s Pizza in Mountain Grove for a valuable job experience outing!

Students learned about sanitation practices, food preparation, customer service, teamwork, and the daily responsibilities involved in running a restaurant. Experiences like this help students build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and explore potential career paths through real-world learning opportunities.

A huge thank you to owners Matt and Dana Brown, Belle, and the entire Mateo’s team for being so welcoming, patient, and encouraging to our students.

Last week, students had the honor of participating in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run — a nationwide movement that raises awareness and support for Special Olympics athletes. The “Flame of Hope” represents inclusion, courage, and opportunity.

We were thankful to welcome the Department of Corrections from Licking as they stopped through Cabool to cheer on our students. It was a special day of community, encouragement, and support, and we are so proud of the way our students represented Cabool! ❤️💙
