On Friday, we had the privilege of honoring our retiring teachers in a very special way.

Each retiree was presented with a U.S. flag that proudly flew over Cabot High School. While flags are often presented in recognition of military service, we believe they are also a fitting tribute to the extraordinary service these educators have given to our students, our schools, and our community.

For decades, they have invested their time, talents, and hearts into educating today's youth. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom and will continue to be felt for generations.

Thank you to these incredible educators for your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to students. We are grateful for your service and proud to honor your legacy.

🇺🇸 Once a Panther, always a Panther. Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many.

A big thank you to Gwatney Chevrolet for sponsoring our Teacher Appreciation shirts!
Our team loved wearing them during the district’s end of year meeting and wrapping up the school year together in style.
We are grateful for community partners like Gwatney Chevrolet who recognize and support the work our teachers do each day. Your generosity helped make our educators feel valued and appreciated, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Important Reminders Before the Last Day of School

This is an automated message from the Cabot School District with important reminders before the last day of school.

The last day of school is Thursday, May 28th. We will be on a regular schedule and dismiss at normal time.

If your student has medication at school, a parent or guardian must pick it up by the end of the school day on May 28th, or it will be properly disposed of. Medication, with the exception of inhalers, cannot be sent home with students on the bus. If you would like your student to carry an inhaler home, the school nurse must receive a written request from a parent or guardian prior to May 28th. Please note that medication will not be carried over to the next school year.

If your student will not be returning to the Cabot School District for the 2026–2027 school year, their Chromebook must be returned to their teacher by the end of the day on May 28th. Cabot High School and Freshman Academy students should return their Chromebooks to the Media Center.

Schools will be sending home information on how to access Clever over the summer using personal devices, if needed. Chromebooks will be reissued in August.

If your student returned their Chromebook but did not turn in the charger, please make sure it is returned as soon as possible to avoid a replacement fee.

We hope everyone has a great last week!

Creativity, culture, and sustainability all came together in Mrs. Maxwell's Spanish class! 🌎🎉

Our students created amazing piñatas using recycled materials while learning about Hispanic traditions and the importance of reusing everyday items in creative ways. From cardboard and newspaper to unique designs, these projects showcased both artistic talent and environmental awareness.

Great job to our students for their hard work and creativity!

Our Military Tribute Wall is well underway, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone helping bring this meaningful project to life. Each dog tag has the name, branch, and graduation year for a Cabot Panther who is serving or has served our country. A huge thank you to Mr. Graham and Ethan Reeves (pictured here) for all of their hard work and dedication in making the dog tags. We also want to thank The Makery of Cabot for installing the wall earlier this year.

This wall is an amazing tribute to our students and staff who are currently serving or who have proudly served in the military, and we are honored to recognize their sacrifice and commitment.

If you have a Cabot alumni you would like to submit to be honored on the wall, please use the link below. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd7uvoymaSp278Q5Bcft5M7aw0an1u8-FCQR1PgRljuL6xmtg/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=105239216485307677415
