Registration is now open for our Junior Police Academy program this summer. To apply please click the following link to fill out the form: https://forms.gle/oRoeb1yhSGDcxA2K6

It will be held June 22nd through June 26th. The academy is initially limited to Cabot School District students, home-schooled students, and those who reside in the Cabot School District boundaries that will be enrolled in the 2026-2027 school year in the 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞. Registration applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis and we anticipate this filling up quickly. The academy will be limited to the first 30 verified cadets with completed applications.

We love our former cadets, but students may only participate in our Junior Police Academy program once.

The Cabot Police Department is excited to announce we will once again be recruiting new cadets for our 2026 Junior Police Academy Program.

Our JPA week will be 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡.

If you thought our Junior Police Academy was fun...how about one for adults!

We are still accepting applications for the fourth year of the Cabot PD Citizens Police Academy program.

This unique program will be free of charge. We want to give citizens an inside look at how the Cabot Police Department operates and the decisions we make. You will meet the officers whose mission is to protect and serve the residents of Cabot and those who work, travel, go to school, and shop here.

Our academy motto is “Partnership through Participation.” Our goal is to promote interaction and communication between the police department and the public we serve. We want participants to have a working knowledge of their police department, understand policing in our community, and build partnerships that will continue to make our community a safe place.

The Citizens Academy will give participants a look at our Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigators, the Narcotics Division and K9 Unit, DWI Investigations, our tactical response team, and more. Our program will start March 30th and will meet on 10 different Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6pm to 8:30pm.

Space is limited and you must meet the following criteria to apply:
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Live or work in Lonoke County
• Have no prior felony arrests
• Have no serious misdemeanor arrests in the last two years
• Commit to attending at least 75 percent of the sessions

Get ready for a friendly stuff bus challenge where YOU get to help select the winner. Saturday, November 15, from 2pm-5pm, join the Cabot Police Foundation and Chick-fil-A Cabot for the Cabot Police Department vs Cabot Fire Department Stuff the Bus Coat Drive Competition. 🧥

Chick-fil-A is providing a free item for the first 100 people to donate a new coat/jacket/or hoodie. 🐔

Coats donated will be for the Downtown Christmas in Cabot Coat Drive. 🎄

Which bus will win? You select which team your donated coat goes to - either the Cabot Police or the Cabot Fire Department Bus!
