Cabot Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc. One of the oldest volunteer emergency ambulance services in Vermont, covering Cabot.

Cabot Ambulance is the result of the work and dedication of Virginia Caffin of Cabot. She was influential in bringing EMS to central Vermont, and founded the service in 1967 with a donated, secondhand hearse. Many people still remember her, and some of her students still volunteer their time and energy to serve the people of our towns. Each member puts in many hours of education and training to ma

intain certification and competency in emergency medicine. We find the effort to be worth it, and are glad that we can help our neighbors in their times of need.
