Cherry Grove Fire and Rescue shows what can happen when CRR starts with the needs firefighters see every day

09/07/2026

Today, we recognize the hardworking men and women who keep our community moving every day — from our local businesses and farmers to first responders, healthcare workers, tradespeople, educators, and everyone in between.

We’re especially grateful for the people who give their time to serve others. Our community is stronger because of neighbors who show up, lend a hand, and take care of one another.

As you enjoy the long weekend with family and friends, please celebrate safely, drive carefully, and take a moment to appreciate the people whose hard work makes Selma Township such a great place to call home.

From all of us at Selma Township Fire Department, we wish you and your family a safe, relaxing, and very Happy Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

Just because it’s a “normal” day at the office
doesn’t mean it’s not heavy.

You’re allowed to feel it.
You’re allowed to talk about it.
And it’s okay to ask for help when you need it. 💛
