Cadillac Area Silent Observer - CASO With crime rates and drug activity on the increase, police are urging community members to get involved.

One way to become involved in the fight against crime is to call Cadillac Area Silent Observer. It’s a simple process:
• Call 779-9215 or 1-800-528-8234.
• Give your information.
• Give the operator a code number or word that only you will know.
• After one month call the tip-line for the status of your tip. If your tip leads to an arrest, you could receive a money reward.

The Silent Observer board meets monthly to approve rewards for tips received during the previous month.

STOLEN VEHICLES - PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to a recent uptick of stolen vehicles in the greater Cadillac area, the Cadillac Police Department would like to remind residents and visitors to lock their vehicles while unattended and keep their keys in a separate secure location. Numerous arrests have been made in recent months of both adults and juveniles for these crimes, and other investigations are still ongoing. If you see suspicious activity please report it immediately to Wexford Central Dispatch with the location, suspicious activity, and description of the subject(s).

Please report in progress crimes to 911, all other activity can be reported to 231-779-9211.
