It’s here! A new episode of CATchin’ Up With the CATS is now LIVE!

This time, Dr. Booth is CATchin' Up with Trigg County High School Senior Jacob Wolfe to talk all things technology, the Student Help Desk, and what it means to find the right balance with technology in our schools.

Jacob gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the work he and the Help Desk team are doing, from repairing Chromebooks and other devices to helping rewrite curriculum that will be used across the country.

And we couldn’t talk tech without taking a little trip down memory lane! Jacob gets hands-on with technology artifacts from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, and repairs them back to working order!

🎥 A new episode of CATchin’ Up With the CATS drops Monday afternoon! 🎙️

This episode features Trigg County High School Senior Jacob Wolfe, a member of our Student Help Desk team.

Jacob and his fellow Help Desk students work alongside district IT specialists, gaining hands-on experience while helping with Chromebook repairs and other technology needs across the district. This year, their work is expanding even further as the Help Desk team helps rewrite curriculum that students and educators across the country will use for years to come!

In this episode, Dr. Booth and Jacob talk about the district’s efforts to rediscover the right balance of technology use in our schools, take a deeper look at what the Student Help Desk is all about, and even take a walk back in time as Jacob works on some of the older technology artifacts from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. 💻🎮📹

It’s a conversation that connects where technology has been, where it is today, and where our students are helping take it next.
