Happy Saturday everyone! Farm and Dairy recently shared an article written by our very own forestry and wildlife technician, Caitlin Harris, on the benefits of tree tubes, featuring Harrison County landowners Rob and Pat Davis, previous winners of Tree Farm of the Year and Regional Tree Farm of the Year. If you have some downtime this weekend, make sure to check it out!

How do you keep deer from destroying your newly planted trees? From repellents to motion sensors, options vary, but tree tubes offer the highest survival rates.

While initial prices range from $3 to $6, they pay for themselves by boosting survival rates from 50% to nearly 100%. Protect your investment from deer, drought and maintenance stress with expert tips from Ohio’s 2024 Tree Farm of the Year. The link is in the comments 🔗⬇️
