Our Forestry and Wildlife Technician, Caitlin, will be discussing pond stocking rates, nuisance wildlife management, and fish species considerations to help you better manage and enjoy your pond. Whether you are a new pond owner or looking to improve an existing pond, this is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more.

Farm and Dairy recently shared an article written by our very own forestry and wildlife technician, Caitlin Harris, on the benefits of tree tubes, featuring Harrison County landowners Rob and Pat Davis, previous winners of Tree Farm of the Year and Regional Tree Farm of the Year. Vendor applications are now open for our 3rd Annual Local Farmers Market!

Join us every Monday from July through August, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Square in Cadiz as we bring our community together to support local agriculture, handmade goods, and small businesses.

We are currently looking for vendors to join us for this year’s market. If you sell produce, baked goods, handmade items, or other local products, we would love to have you participate.

Ever wonder how nearly 3,000 seedlings make their way to us for the annual tree sale? Well… it involves 14 large boxes and one very confused (and slightly unhappy) FedEx driver 😅

Good news though—Elvis has entered the building!

Over the next few days, we’ll be sorting and organizing all the trees so they’re ready for you to take home and enjoy.
