Make sure to stop out and visit our vendors for the LAST Farmers Market of the season! 4-6 at the green space in Cadiz.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this event all season long. We truly appreciate you and can’t wait to be back next year!

Tonight marks the LAST Farmers Market of the season as our market begins to wind down! Tonight at the Square in Cadiz
4–6 PM

Stop by and give our amazing vendors one last hoorah and support them with a BANG! They’ve worked so hard all summer to bring you locally grown, handmade, and homemade products, and we are so grateful for all they do.

We will be holding a special meeting tomorrow at 4pm at our office to discuss personnel.

We encourage everyone to visit our Farmers Market on Mondays, but we may have to make an exception for yesterday’s visitor!

This invasive Spotted Lanternfly decided to crash the market and hang out on our sign. Apparently, our vendors’ goods were just too tempting. Unfortunately, this is one visitor we had to stomp out!

You’ll start seeing more Spotted Lanternflies as they transition from their red nymph stage (like the one pictured here on the also-invasive Tree of Heaven) into adults.

If you see one, stomp it out! They are fast, strong jumpers and can be tricky to catch.

And if you saw our Forestry & Wildlife Technician, Caitlin, doing a strange hopping dance yesterday, now you know why.

Unfortunately, due to low registration numbers, this workshop has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your interest!

In the meantime, we still have our Wild Harvest Academy on August 28th, and registration is open! We’d love to see you there.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at one of our future events!
