***PHONE CALL SPAM ALERT***

Good afternoon, Village residents! Unfortunately, we have received multiple calls about someone pretending to work for Xcel Energy, calling and threatening to turn off power to people's residences if they didn't make their payment within the next 30 minutes.

This is completely FALSE!!! All residences inside Village limits have power that is owned by the Village. We do not purchase from Xcel Energy. If you were to receive a call about your power, it would be someone from the Village of Cadott.

Please do not make any payments to phone calls like this, and do not give them any of your personal information.

Thank you!!!

***ATTENTION RESIDENTS***

We have recently received multiple complaints about e-bikes/mini-bikes/e-scooters/play vehicles traveling around the Village.

Village ordinance (10-2-7 & 10-4-3) and State Law let citizens know what they can/cannot do.

First offenses will result in a warning being issued, and subsequent offenses will result in the issuance of a citation.

For more information on the Village Ordinance, please refer to Chapter 10 or click the link below and scroll down to 10-2-7 and 10-4-3:

Brookyln Hrdlicka is back on familiar ground, serving as an intern with the Cadott Police Department, as part of the CVTC law enforcement program. Hrdlicka is learning the ropes of being a police officer, with plans to join the force, once her training is complete.

Did you spy with your little eye Chief Tim Bowman on the tractor pull sled on Friday night? 👀

We want to thank everyone who came out to Cadott Nabor Days this weekend and made it a fun, safe event! The Cadott Community Association - CCA works so hard to make this annual tradition one that people want to return to year after year, and it's incredibly satisfying to see the effort pay off in happy faces all weekend long. So get some rest, cool off, ✨hydrate✨, and we'll see you next year!

Come out to Cadott Nabor Days and you might catch a glimpse of Cadott's Finest: protecting, serving, breaking it down.

I'm so tired, you guys. It's so hot. 🫠

Good morning and Happy Monday!!!

Just a follow-up from yesterday's post about the slick road conditions and "melting" tires at the STH 27 at CTY TK X intersection.

Sometimes we receive information from people that is just too good not to post...even though we know it is false. We know tires don't "melt" unless it is ridiculously hot out...like fire hot. 🔥🔥🔥

With that being said, we were able to determine the reason for the road conditions...

Unfortunately, a tractor had blown a hydraulic fluid line, was leaking, and was trying to get to a better location to receive service.

We apologize if this has caused any inconvenience on your way through town, and hope you will come back soon!

PSA!!!!!

Those traveling in/out of town on STH 27, please use caution. The heat is making the road slippery because of the stopping with traffic and with "melting" rubber tires leaving Rock Fest. We have an officer directing traffic at STH 27 at CTY TK X, but be prepared! Thank you and drive safe!

SEEKING INFORMATION / PSA

Yesterday around lunchtime, a Good Samaritan offered water to a dog in a white car in the parking lot at Circle K, 641 Hwy 27.

While there are a lot of factors that should have prevented this outcome (not leaving a dog in a car, not leaving a dog in a car when it's 90+ degrees and 10000% humidity, calling the police when you find a dog in a car, not approaching a strange dog... I could go on,) the fact remains that said Good Samaritan was bitten by said dog.

While Circle K requests access to their security cameras, I really just need to know if that specific pup is up-to-date with their rabies vaccination. So if you happened to be driving a white car yesterday, had your dog as your copilot, and hit the truck stop between 11:00a and 1:00p, please call me. I promise I won't scold you for the dog in the car thing. You'll get shamed enough for that here.

As always, 715-289-4238.
