Cairo Public Library The Cairo Public Library was built in 1884 by Mrs. Anna Safford in memory of her husband, A.B. Saffo

The Cairo Public Library is a working 1884 historic library with over 50,000 volumes that can be circulated. The Library houses a unique collection of beautiful furnishings and displays located on two floors of the structure. Lovely stained glass windows throughout the facility add elegance to our wonderful building.
