Tuesday, April 28 2026 , Lower Cairo Road will be closed for 2 days weather permitting. Road WILL NOT BE PASSABLE while project is underway. There will be barricades saying road closed, no thru traffic at the intersection of lower Cairo road and Hwy 93 s. And at the Thomas County Line on lower Cairo road.

The Grady County Board of Commissioners seeks an individual to fill a vacancy on the Grady County Board of Tax Assessors.
Duties for the position include:
Attending meetings of the Grady County Board of Tax Assessors,
Serving as a liaison between the Tax Assessors Office and the citizens of Grady County,
Hearing and ruling on Tax Assessment appeals.
