REMINDER: Archbold Grady will hold a drill this Wednesday, July 22, to test the hospital’s response to our emergency code, Code Silver, “active shooter”. We want to assure our community that THIS IS ONLY A DRILL!

All services at Archbold Grady and the surrounding facilities will be available during the drill. All patients with radiology or endoscopy appointments during the drill will need to enter through the main entrance at Archbold Grady.

The active shooter drill will take place in the emergency department. You may see emergency vehicles and increased security in the area during this drill, but there will be no need for alarm.

Drills like this allow Archbold to test our response to emergency situations and practice our coordination with local law enforcement. The safety of our patients, our employees, and our visitors is our #1 priority.

The first tropical depression is expected to increase strength and become a Tropical storm for the next couple of days. A good chance of rain and storms with possible tornadoes. Keep your eye on the weather and stay safe.
