The City of Calais is now accepting applications for the 2026 Downtown Charm Grant Program. Property owners within the TIF District may apply for reimbursement funding for approved exterior and façade improvements. Applications are due by June 15, 2026, with awards expected to be announced by June 29, 2026. Eligible projects include signage, storefront improvements, painting, restoration, exterior lighting, awnings, and more. Please contact the Calais City Building for additional information or to obtain an application.
