I want to thank all of my supporters in the recent election, it was a great run. Unfortunately, I fell a little short .
Congratulations to the two trustees that will serve the township for four more years.
I will continue to serve proudly for the Saint Clair Township area as the Calcutta Fire chief  and I will uphold my oath of office to to do what is in the best interest of our residents.
I am very proud to call this place home! 😁🙏

We are extremely grateful and blessed with some amazing local businesses like CA Joseph Co. and many others! Chief Dave McCoy met with local businesses the past few weeks who have helped us create some great fun events for our community and presented them with a plaque thanking them for their contributions to our community!

“Calcutta playground and soaker pad”
The future is our children and we need to make things right here at home for them to develop and grow. 

My vision is to get one of these playgrounds back in Calcutta as we lost our only one at the old Calcutta school site  approximately 10 years ago .
We will need to come together as a community in an effort to make this project realistic, looking for a site ,donations and applying for grants if possible. To be included in this project would be long-term maintenance and care.
 We will start by looking at other nearby communities, like the one in Canfield across from the fairgrounds, Walnut Grove.

This campaign fall theme using equipment from the McCoy family farm adds something a little different for people to see.

I can assure you I will look at things creatively and am up for the challenges and tasks that may come along as trustee.

Over the years I have been thoroughly trained not just through the state Fire Marshal’s office, but hands on in many disaster situations.

I also have experience with unions, construction, application for grants, personnel management, arbitration and some legal issues.

We are closing in with a year to go till our 1996 Engine 32 is replaced with a 2026 Engine being custom built from Sutphen that was ordered 2 1/2 years ago. Our current Sutphen will be 30 years old when the new one arrives and has had consistent maintenance issues that it is becoming costly. Like any responsible fire department would do we decided it was time to upgrade to be able to provide the best services for our township residents. The new Sutphen is $888,102 of which $400,000 cash was put down on it and we will be financing $488,102 from Leasing 2 Inc. We just wanted to give everyone an update to let you see the progress and where your tax dollars are going.
