***BHRC Now Accepting Online Donations***
In response to numerous requests for a more streamlined way to donate to the various funds supported by the BHRC, we are pleased to announce that Burleson County has created an online portal through which donations can be made to support the efforts of the BHRC to provide assistance to individuals and families in need in Burleson County.

Under the “Payment Type” tab, you will have to opportunity to contribute to:
Child Welfare: To support the Child Welfare Board and Child Protective Services efforts to provide a broad range of direct assistance to abused and neglected children.
Health Resource: To support the BHRC in providing a broad range of direct assistance to the elderly, disabled, victims of domestic violence, and other vulnerable individuals.
Rainbow Room: To stock the Rainbow Room with clothing, toiletries, infant supplies, and other essential items to meet the needs of abused and neglected children in the care of Child Protective Services, many of whom have been removed from their homes and are in need of immediate care and support.
Jim and Diane Heckman Memorial Fund: To honor the memory and continue the ministry of Jim Heckman, who served as the Chair of the Burleson Family Resource Commission for many years. He and his wife, Diane, passed away in 2020. This fund will be used to continue his ministry of service to the residents of the Cade Lake area of Caldwell.
Adam’s Heart: To honor the memory of Adam Ramirez, the son of the BHRC’s Executive Director, who passed away in August 2021 at the age of 37, a victim of the COVID-19 virus. Many friends and family members have expressed a desire to reflect Adam’s kind and generous nature by supporting the BHRC in its mission to serve those in need in our community. Contributions to this fund will be used to provide direct assistance to anyone in need in Burleson County, with a particular emphasis on those impacted by COVID-19.
All funds will be used for direct assistance to Burleson County residents. None will be used for administrative, indirect costs, salaries, or operations. All expenditures are approved by Burleson County and monitored by the Burleson County Auditor in accordance with State law.
The BHRC aims to improve the overall health of Burleson County by linking county residents to essential resources and services.
