****Public Notice****

The Caldwell Water Department has received concerns about the water flavor profile and aroma. As we are nearing the end of our capacity upgrade, we have had to change our filtration process. Auxiliary filters are being used while the permanent filters are rebuilt. We monitor and sample the water quality several times per day. We have pulled extra samples to be sent to outside labs to ensure the highest quality water is available for Noble County residents.

Power Outage Update

Due to an unexpected power outage caused by AEP crews working on power lines, portions of the Village are currently without electricity.

At this time, the Village has not been provided with an official estimated restoration time. The last information we received indicated that power may be restored around 2:00 PM, but this has not been confirmed and is subject to change.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while AEP works to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
