01/01/2026
As we bring 2025 to a close, we have much to be thankful for.
To start, we cannot begin to express the gratitude we have for our community and the support we have received since opening our doors at midnight on July 1st of this year. From the planning phase of the operation through opening the service, and to this day, we have strived to be something the citizens of Noble County can depend on and be proud of.
We continue daily to explore better methods to provide service, implement protocols and procedures that allow us to stay current with the ever changing best practices, and to utilize technology when available to advance our craft and provide the best service possible.
Through the first 6 months of operations, we have responded to 894 total calls for service. Of those, 585 were transported to primary care hospitals. 309 of those calls resulted in the following:
1. Lift assists
2. Accidental Medical Alarms
3. Transporting critically ill or injured to a landing zone to be transported by aircraft
4. Refusal of care/transport
5. Coroner/non-hospital cases
6. Cancelled during response
7. Good intent- event standby's or sports coverage where an ambulance is required
We have stayed busy to say the least. Multiple occasions have occurred where both duty crews have already been on calls, and our call-in program has been utilized. This takes place when multiple calls occur in a short time frame and additional resources are needed. Part-time and Full-time providers are "notified" of the need and respond directly to the station to staff another ambulance. We have been fortunate to have such dedicated personnel who are willing to respond, even when off duty, to help our community.
In closing, we again thank you all for the amazing support of our agency and the work we do.
As 2025 counts down to an end we look forward to good things in 2026, and beyond!
Happy New Year Noble County!
