The Caledonia Splashpad is Officially Open!

Great news, Caledonia! The repairs to the Splashpad are complete, and it officially opened today, July 21, at 10:00 AM!

We know everyone has been eagerly awaiting its reopening, and we appreciate your patience while work was completed.

To ensure the Splashpad stays safe, fun, and in great working order for the entire community, please review and follow all posted rules at the venue.

Thank you for helping us keep our town facilities clean and safe. Come on down and cool off!

COMMUNITY FOOD BOX GIVEAWAY
We are hosting a Food Box Giveaway next week to support our local families in need. If your family could use some extra groceries, or if you know a neighbor who could, please come by!
When: Thursday, June 4, 2026
Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Where: Town Hall (At the back door by the gazebo)
Who: Open to Caledonia School District residents in need of assistance
Food boxes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please help us spread the word to ensure this resources reaches the families who need it most. See you there!

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT: SPLASH PAD OPENING DELAYED

We have some unfortunate news to share regarding the splash pad. Due to an unexpected Water Department Project, the splash pad will NOT be opening for Memorial Day weekend as planned.

When will it open? Right now, we do not have an exact opening date. However, please keep an eye on our page for updates!

The Good News: We know how much everyone looks forward to this, so we will be extending the splash pad dates later in the season once we are up and running to ensure no one misses out on the fun.

Severe thunderstorms are expected to move across the area this afternoon through tonight. The primary risk will be damaging winds, with gusts as high as 70 mph possible. There is potential for a widespread damaging-wind event. Tornadoes will be possible. Large hail, between quarter- and golf-ball size, will also be possible across the area.
Locally heavy rainfall will be possible. The area will see 1 to 2 inches of rain. Locally higher amounts of 3 to 6 inches in a short period of time will be possible with training, slow-moving storms. These areas could experience localized flash flooding, particularly in low-lying and urban areas.
