🚨 WATERMAIN BREAK – 3 MILE ROAD 🚨

The Village has been notified of a watermain break on 3 Mile Road. Crews are responding and working to make the necessary repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

Residents in the area may experience low water pressure, discolored water, or a temporary interruption in service while repairs are underway.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while this work is completed. We will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.

🚧 WIS 38 RESURFACING PROJECT – PUBLIC MEETING 🚧

WisDOT is preparing to begin a resurfacing project along WIS 38 from Dunkelow Road in the Village of Caledonia to Linwood Road in Racine County. Construction is expected to begin in late August 2026 and continue through fall 2027.

The project will include:

Repaving approximately 2.6 miles of WIS 38
Replacing four existing culverts
Improving drainage along the corridor
Installing new signs and pavement markings
Adding rumble strips

🚗 TRAFFIC IMPACTS

WIS 38 will be closed to through traffic during construction. The proposed detour will use WIS 31 from Northwestern Avenue to 6 Mile Road.

WisDOT plans to close only one major intersection at a time — either 4 Mile Road or 5 Mile Road — while maintaining cross-traffic at the other intersection to help preserve east-west access.

The meeting will be held in an open house format, with no formal presentation. Residents can stop in anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. to review project information, speak with WisDOT representatives, and ask questions.
