We had a fabulous morning at Cal-Mum Central School at the springerle cookie class.
Amy Dykstra, a 19th century cook at Genesee Country Village & Museum, showed us how to make these beautiful impression cookies.
We made several flavors and used a variety of molds to create our springerle cookies.
This class was a mix of children and adults and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
“It was really nice to be with people and just have nice conversation,” said one of participants.
It definitely was!
