With summer months ahead, we have had some questions about our policy regarding children coming to the library over the summer and hanging out without an adult. Here's an update of our policy that was created last year that is still in effect. Please let us know if you have any quesitons. We love having the children in the library, the policy is simply to keep the children safe.

It's time!! Our Summer Reading Calendar is out. We have a fun filled summer planned. All events and programs are free and open to the public.

Join us for:
Summer reading challenge-weekly prizes & grand prizes (all 8 weeks must be completed for the grand prizes)

Weekly storytime, craft and snack

Fun Entertainment through our vetted programs are funded by SELCO through a grant from the Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF). (On the calendar in blue)

Big thanks to the St. Mary's students in Caledonia for visiting the library this week! The 3D printer was a huge hit, and thanks to a generous donation, every student got a free book. We also loved telling them about our Summer reading program! 📚🥳

Our 3D printer is busy! If you are not sure what gadget you may need, you can download the studio app to see what is all available. Bring the picture in the the library and we will see if we can get it printed for you.

We are able to see how much an item costs to make with supplies and that will be the responsibility of the patron. We will not be selling items, just showing you the machine and assisting in creating your gadget.

Here at the Caledonia Public Library, we strive to bring new ideas and technology to our patrons. With our new 3D printer "Imagination Station" this is possible. We had a patron looking for an item for her kitchen aid mixer cord. Bethany, our 3D guru was able to make her one. We are able to see how much an item costs to make with supplies and that will be the responsibility of the patron. We will not be selling items, just showing you the machine and assisting in creating your gadget.
