Walgreens will be at Kent District Library to provide free Flu vaccines. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged, and you can sign up for a time in advance. Please bring a proof of insurance. If you do not have insurance, a voucher will be provided. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Road work is scheduled to take place on 100th Street from Division Avenue to Eastern Avenue. The work will begin on October 12, and should be completed by October 31,2026. The scope of work for the project calls for pavement replacement that consists of crushing and shaping the existing roadway, followed by the placement of two courses of HMA. Shoulder grading will be completed after paving, along with permanent pavement markings and site restoration.

The Planning Commission has 4 items for consideration at their upcoming meeting including: a Special Land Use Permit for an accessory building for 1370 84th Street, a rezoning from Suburban Residential to Village Residential for 7285 Eastern Avenue, a rezoning from Suburban Residential to Village Residential for 1440 68th Street, and a Special Land Use Permit for mineral extraction for 10688 Kalamazoo Ave & 2110 100th Street.
