Check these out! We had a small baby boom in 2014 where 6 of our firefighters had children within a few months from each other. These kiddos are all starting kindergarten this year!

Last week these families got together to document a huge milestone - all these girls started kindergarten this year (missing 2 kids) so it called for a photo shoot at dads work.😉

But we couldn’t stop there, of course we had to do some family photos and especially some sibling photos, because I don’t think there’s anything cuter than sisters and brothers on a firetruck❤️🚒

The Calera Fire Department regrets to announce that we have lost a beloved member of our fire department family. Sam Green passed away yesterday at his home in Calera. Sam has been an honorary firefighter with Calera for over 15 years. He brought lots of smiles and laughs to the fire station with his unwavering positive attitude! Please remember Sam’s family and the entire Calera Community as we all grieve this unexpected loss. We will post funeral arrangement when they have been finalized.
