Join us as we celebrate Family Savings Credit Union’s 75th Anniversary with a Diamond Dig event in Calhoun, Georgia! 💎✨

75th Anniversary Diamond Dig – Calhoun, GA Branch
📅 Date/Time: Saturday, August 8 | 10 AM – 12 PM
📍 Location: Calhoun Branch
1273 Curtis Parkway, Calhoun, GA 30701
⏰ Dig registration opens 9:30–11:30 AM

Throughout the event, 50 participants will be randomly selected for the chance to dig through dirt and sand for exciting prizes ranging from $10 to a $1,000 diamond necklace!

We will have five dig times, with 10 diggers randomly called approximately 10 minutes before each dig.

Dig participants:
• Must present a valid photo ID at the time of registration
• Must be 18 years or older
• Limited to ONE entry per household
Participation in the dig is free. IDs will be checked at the time of registration to verify eligibility.

In addition to the Diamond Dig, the event will feature family-friendly fun, including: 🎈 balloon animals, 🎨 face painting, 📸 a 360 photo booth, 🏰 jumpy houses, 🎶 DJ with music, and 🍦 food trucks (with items available for purchase).

The Gordon Chamber was honored to join Gordon County officials, community leaders, and guests from across the region today for the ribbon cutting and open house of the Northwest Georgia Agricultural & Events Center, located at 1070 Liberty Road SW, Calhoun, GA 30701.

Today’s celebration marked the realization of a vision that will benefit Gordon County and Northwest Georgia for generations to come. The Northwest Georgia Agricultural & Events Center represents more than just a new facility—it is a gathering place where agriculture, education, entertainment, and community come together.

Congratulations to Gordon County and everyone whose hard work, dedication, and commitment helped bring this project to life. We are excited to see the memories, opportunities, and connections that will be created here for years to come.
