Its almost election time again I can’t believe how fast three years has gone by. Thank you all for trusting me when you elected me three years ago. I am so proud of how far in That time we have come as a district. We have balanced the budget moving away from a big deficit we had previously. Gave teachers the largest raise in district history. Expanded our pre k program to four classes this coming year. Brought both soccer on and archery as school sponsored programs. But most importantly we seem to be moving in a positive direction with teachers now wanting to come and teach here and stay. The work is far from over though. Please re-elect me to California R-1 school board. GO PINTOS

Don’t forget to go to the California R-1 website at californiak12.org and fill out the stakeholder survey. We need everyone’s opinions on how we can improve the district as we move forward developing the CSIP continuous school improvement plan for our district.

Election Day is here and I encourage you to get out & vote. There is no other election more important than choosing the individuals that will ultimately help guide, shape, implement, and develop not only curriculum, but also the atmosphere in which our children will taught. I believe there has never been another time in history where so many outside forces and money are trying to change what we believe, what we can and cannot teach our children, and what we have to teach our children. I hope that tomorrow you will vote for me for California R-1 school board. Trust me to fight for better education, trust me to utilize your tax dollars efficiently and wisely, advocate for our children’s safety, focus on our children’s education and help to prepare them for their future.
