We’ve received a few calls about smoke in the area.
The smoke is related to a planned prescribed burn being conducted by Riverside County Fire in San Timoteo Canyon on June 3–4.

🚒PRESCRIBED BURN🚒
On June 3rd and 4th, 2026, firefighters will conduct a prescribed burn of the Norton Younglove plot in San Timoteo Canyon, north of Moreno Valley.
⚠Drift smoke may be visible from nearby communities but will disperse quickly and is not expected to be a health hazard. Burning operations typically begin after 6:00 A.M. and conclude by 1:00 P.M. the same day.
