Guests are invited to enjoy a variety of guided classes, scenic hikes, and engaging wellness experiences designed for all ages and fitness levels. From invigorating morning trail activities to relaxing mid-day sessions, the day offers opportunities to explore new practices, recharge, and find inspiration for everyday self-care.

🌲 Summer evening programs are back at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park!

This Saturday kicks off the first of our weekly Summer Evening Programs — with a fun karaoke night to start the season. 🎤✨

Join us every Saturday night throughout June and July for a different evening program hosted by Napa Valley State Parks Association and Napa County Regional Park & Open Space District.

Acompaña a Napa Valley Painting para una clase guiada de pintura acrílica paso a paso junto al arroyo y bajo los árboles redwood. No se necesita experiencia y todos los materiales estarán incluidos, incluyendo un lienzo con el dibujo ya marcado. Actividad para edades de 13 años en adelante. Instrucciones en inglés y español.

El lugar de la clase está a una caminata fácil de ¼ de milla por el sendero Redwood Trail. Por favor, llegue 20 minutos antes para tener tiempo para estacionarse y caminar hasta el sitio.

Join Napa Valley Painting for a step-by-step acrylic paint-along beside Ritchey Creek beneath the redwood trees. No experience is needed, and all supplies, including a pre-sketched canvas outline, will be provided. Ages 13+. Instructions in English and Spanish.

The painting class site is an easy ¼-mile walk along the Redwood Trail. Please arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for parking and walking to the site.

Free to attend. Space is limited to 20 participants, so please register in advance.

We’re excited to share that Inspired by the Land: Art in the Parks is returning in 2026!

Local artists, makers, and creatives are invited to take part in this special event at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12 PM to 4 PM.
As part of California State Parks Week, this free, outdoor celebration brings together art, nature, and community.

Looking for participants to:
• Exhibit or sell original artwork and handmade goods
• Lead creative, nature-inspired workshops or demonstrations
• Volunteers to assist with the kids’ craft zone and activities

Whether you're sharing your work or leading a hands-on activity, this is a great opportunity to support the park, connect with visitors through art, and inspire a deeper appreciation for the environment.

This is more than just an art show — it’s a community gathering where visitors can explore creative experiences while enjoying the park’s natural beauty.

Don't be alarmed by smoke today at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park.
California State Parks and CAL FIRE personnel plan to conduct a pile burn at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park today, April 8th between 9am-5pm.

This prescribed burn is part of ongoing fuel reduction efforts and aimed at protecting park infrastructure and visitors in the event of a wildfire. As with all prescribed burns at California State Parks this work is done by trained firefighters with safety as the top priority. If conditions are not ideal for safe burning this will be rescheduled to a later date.

The campground, cabins, and trails remain open during this burn. However we still want to ensure that you are informed in advance so you are not alarmed should you see fire personnel or smell smoke during your visit.
