🏃‍♂️🏈 SATURDAY IS PACKED IN CALLAWAY! 🏈🏃‍♀️

Looking for something to do this Saturday, September 5? We’ve got a full day of activities happening at the Callaway Recreational Complex and Gore Park!

🏃 US Road Running 5K/10K
📍 Callaway Recreational Complex - Soccer Pavilions
⏰ Beginning at 7:00 AM

Runners will get to enjoy a beautiful course through the 80-acre Callaway Recreational Complex, including the scenic 5-acre fishing pond, meticulously maintained soccer fields, and a loop around the baseball and softball fields before making their way back to the soccer pavilion.

📍 Gore Park: 432 Beulah Ave
🏈 Callaway Rebels vs. Holmes County

Game Times:
🔹 Boomer: 10:00 AM
🔹 P*e Wees: 11:30 AM
🔹 Juniors: 1:00 PM
🔹 Seniors: 3:00 PM

🌭 Full concessions will be open and available throughout the football game! 🥜

City of Callaway offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Parks will remain open and will close at sunset. Have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day holiday! 🏖️

Courtesy of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, these free checks help boaters make sure their vessel has the required safety equipment and is ready for the water. No penalties or citations, just a great opportunity to identify anything you may need before heading out.

Don’t have a life jacket? We’ve got you covered! Stop by Gore Park Boat Ramp and borrow a FREE life jacket for the day. With multiple sizes available, it’s an easy way to help keep everyone safe while enjoying the water. Just return it when you’re done!

🥎 Special Olympics Softball is back at Callaway! ❤️

The first practice of the season is tomorrow afternoon from 5:00-6:00pm on Field 1 at Callaway Recreational Complex!

Practices will be held every Thursday from 5:00-6:00pm through November 12.

Special Olympics Florida softball is available for athletes ages 8 and up with intellectual disabilities. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome to train, compete, build friendships, and develop skills both on and off the field.
