HISTORY.
For the first time in nearly three decades, Calumet Park can proudly claim a league championship in baseball!

Our 10U White Sox team, under Coach Darronte & Co., prepared back in February for and capped off a 13-0 season with a CYBA Championship vs. the Roseland Pirates.

The vast majority of our team has been together since T-Ball and have forged a bond that goes well beyond the game.

We are so proud of our youth, doing positive things as this is just the beginning!

Special thanks goes to Coach Josh, who’s done a fantastic job as our Head of Baseball for nearly a decade! Our Assistant Coaches, Jermel & Trevion, the Park’s & Recreation Dept. and our first ever Training & Development Coach, Mr. Martin.

To Mayor Denson & the Board, thank you for your unwavering support from the beginning. To all the parents, loved ones, and fans who showed up to support and especially to our student-athletes who put the work in, from the cold days of February preseason to the warmth of Championship summer, you never gave up and this is your reward!

LET’S GO, CP!!!🥇⚾️🏆

Hello CP! Thanks to a grant through CMAP, we are looking to improve our corridors; starting with a brief survey when you click the map! This will give both CMAP and ourselves an honest feedback on pedestrian safety, roadway upgrades, vehicular safety, economic development and more. So please, complete the survey and keep CP moving!

Welcome to the Calumet Park Corridor Plan page! What is the Calumet Park Corridor Plan? The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is partnering with the Village of Calumet Park to develop the Calumet Park Corridor Plan which will build on the Village's

Can we catch a break?! Tomorrow, according to weather reports, we're in for another round of severe thunderstorms. Here are some items you may need to know to be prepared.

📝 Illinois Severe Weather Preparedness Guidehttps://iemaohs.illinois.gov/content/dam/soi/en/web/iemaohs/preparedness/documents/severeweatherpreparedness.pdf

⚡️ComEd Emergency -1(800) 344-7661, to report outages and/or damage to their wooden power poles.

📱 Makes sure your essential devices stay charged.

🚙 If you're able to & it's safe to do so, park your car in the garage.

‼️Listen out for warning siren, and when it comes on, seek shelter.

Above all CP, remain alert and stay safe tomorrow. "The Place to Be" is prepared!

That was a powerful storm today, but thankfully, it has passed over.

Our Public Works crew have come back to work and are out and about clearing as much debris, tree limbs and fallen branches as they can, so kindly bear with them.

Also, ComEd crews are rolling through the Village as we speak. So hopefully, if your power is out, it should be restored in due time.

Lastly, if you observe a damaged pole, downed wire or anything out of the ordinary concerning electrical; check first to see if it’s WOODEN or METAL. Wooden poles are ComEd and metal poles belong to the Village. So tomorrow, when the Village Hall opens at 9am tomorrow, call and leave your address to so it can noted.

Stay safe, be alert & prepared, and be patient with our Public Works crews as they will work around the clock to clear up the damage.
