Greenway FIRE & Rescue

Greenway FIRE & Rescue Greenway Fire & Rescue is a Volunteer Fire Department that serves Calumet, MN, Marble, MN, Pengilly, Mn and Greenway Township.

Greenway Fire is made up of volunteers from the cities of Marble & Calumet as well as Greenway Township. We provide first response and fire protection to the cities and township and also to all fire departments that need us in St Louis and Itasca counties. At this time we presently have 23 members. This new department was created on the sole traditions of the Calumet & Marble Fire Departments. Whe

n the cities combined the two departments in 2010 the membership proudly carried on the quality of care and traditions passed on to them, as well as creating some new ones. As Chief, I can say I am very proud of this department and proud to serve with the awesome personnel that represent both cities and townships. Their is no greater act of courage and selflessness in the world than to risk your life to save another's. Ladd Finke

From all of us to you Captain Darrick Finke we know your uniform represents courage, but your heart represents everything we admire most. Thank you for your 13 years of service and for being the person you are.
We’re going to miss you around here and hope you know we didn’t want you to go, but we understand and we wish you the best.

We hope we can live up to the standards you set and carry on the traditions you helped install here.

Attention all! We at Greenway Fire would like to congratulate the man, the myth, the legend Don "Bugs" Bogdanovich on his official retirement from Greenway Fire after 47.... Yes 47 years of service. Some would say Bugs has been around longer than the advent of the modern Fire engine!

Bugs thank you for showing up for your community in its time of need and being an integral part of where the department is today. We will forever be thankful for you and your service with us.

If you see Bugs around congratulate him on an outstanding career in the fire/ems service and a happy retirement.
