The Calvert Police Department would like the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who committed "Criminal Mischief" at a business located at 1004 S. Main St. in the city of Calvert, TX., on March 10, 2026. The suspect is a White male, about 5'08" to 5'10, looks to be in his mid 30s to early 40 years of age, possibly 196 to 210 lbs., he has tattoos on the lower portions of both arms.

The suspect threw a small pocket knife at the door, shattering the glass. He went into the store and came back out. Nothing was taken from the store.

The Calvert Police Department would like the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who burglarized the Family Dollar store located at 802 S. Main St. in the city of Calvert, TX., on February 20, 2026. The suspect is a Black male, about 5'9" to 6', about 26 to 30 years of age, possibly 180lbs.

The suspect threw a couple of rocks at the door, shattering the glass. He went into the store and, while inside, took several items of value, including 2 speakers, a headset, snacks, and some Pennzoil motor oil.

Today we officially welcomed THREE new officers to the Calvert Police Department!
Officer Nguyen, Officer Lopez, and Officer Consemiu are now part of the CPD family!!

These guys come to us with years of experience from other departments — and they’re fired up, ready to serve, and committed to keeping our city safe!
They bring heart, hustle, and boots-on-the-ground dedication that will be a HUGE asset to Calvert!

Shoutout to Chief Watson for his strong leadership and vision in helping us grow — and major thanks to our City of Calvert Administration for always backing us up and investing in public safety!
