Our Story
The Calvert Chamber of Commerce strives to be the influential voice of business, creating economic vitality by promoting the business community and its members. We are a community based, non-profit organization designed to help build the community and local businesses. Our dedication is first and foremost to our members and businesses.
Our board of directors work to preserve and promote the economic interest & well-being of our community. We complete our mission every day by working with all other entities and community groups with the same vision. Our goal is to unify the public spirit of the community and bring people and businesses together to do important and meaningful projects for the local economy. While promoting the City of Calvert, tourism and membership businesses, we encourage residents and visitors to patronize and support these businesses and organizations.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS Board of Directors meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 5:30pm. Public notices are posted on the chamber's Facebook. Members are always welcome to attend. Board meetings rotate each month and are held at various member locations to highlight members and their businesses. Meeting questions can be answered by calling the chamber office, 979-364-2559.
