Save the Camak Post Office In July 2011, the USPS released a list of post offices to be reviewed for possible closure. Unfortunately, Camak Post Office was on the list.

OUR POST OFFICE IS UNDER REVIEW BY THE USPS FOR POSSIBLE CLOSURE. NO FINAL DETERMINATION HAS BEEN MADE BY THE USPS, BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT TO HELP SAVE CAMAK POST OFFICE.

If you have kids in college, I urge you to write them a letter. Just receiving a letter means so much and will be such a treasure. Here's a box of letters from my Mom while I was in college. She faithfully wrote to me every week and I treasure each and every card she sent. Here's my box from sept 95 to dec 98. What a blessing to get something so personal.

Does the stamp really make a difference? ABSOLUTELY!! I stopped by Camak Post Office today and bought a great sheet a Disney inspired "Mail a Smile" Forever Stamps. They also have the newly released Rosa Parks Forever Stamps in stock. Stop by Camak Post Office if you think the stamp really makes a difference. Our PO needs to sell more if we want to ask her to order a larger selection.

I recently learned about USPS form 3615 to obtain a permit to cancel your mail with your local postmark. Since our Postmaster retired, I have to ASK my Post Office to postmark mail with our city/zip code, but now I can do it myself :) I cannot wait to apply for this permit!!

Please don't forget about the townhall meeting tomorrow at Camak Fire house at 12:00 Noon. The USPS Review Coordinator will discuss reducing our window hours and taking our office off the "discontinuance study list". PLEASE ATTEND!!! I know this time is extremely inconvenient for many of us; however, they would not reschedule when I requested. I urge you to spend your lunch hour as we show our support for Camak Post Office.

A pastor had his congregation write love letters last Sunday during the service. I was blessed enough to receive one of those today in my mailbox AT WORK. I cannot tell you how touched I was by receiving this special letter. Be a blessing to someone today and write them a "love letter". Camak PO will be glad to let you pick out the perfect stamp for your card and postmark it with love from 30807.
